Unlike a plain photo album, a scrapbook tells a visual story and contains the very best photographs you've taken of your Halloween festivities. The scrap book album and the pictures it contains is then embellished with other items such as Halloween memorabilia, appropriate headlines, written narratives, poetry, quotations, stories, or other relative content. Next, trinkets, confetti, glitter, stickers, movie ticket stubs for a scary movie you may have gone to see, etc. are glued or taped to the pages creating a montage. TIP: If you can, always make a copy of your original photo to use in your scrap book. That way you'll preserve the original for a later time. You can scan it into your computer and print on high quality photo paper or take it to a photo developer and have them make a copy. You can also use the photo machine that most developers have for public use to make copies yourself. It might be a bit more costly to reproduce every photo that you are going to use but it might save you heartache in the long run.

Some personal websites are virtual scrapbooks. If you have your own web site or blog, you can create your own online photo album to display your Halloween pictures. If you use a traditional camera, you'll need to scan your pictures using a scanner connected to your computer. If you use digital, you can up-load the pictures directly to your computer and using a graphics program, add titles, names, funny quotes, etc. It's a nice way to let friends and family across the country see what you did for Halloween!

If you have a program like Photoshop to use you can also create a multitude of special effects on your graphics, make titles for pages, even make your own backgrounds for your pages!
